Chef Mark Lancaster | Director of Food Operations

I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. I went to college at Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island to study culinary arts. I received my degree in Occupational Science and started working. Banks, pet stores, electronics store. Everything but cooking. After meeting my wife, Sarah, online and eventually married her, I moved to her home state of Wisconsin. I worked for a hotel in the Dells for 12 years, as the Assistant General Manager. After selling the hotel to Mt. Olympus, my position was eliminated. A couple of years later I applied for the cook’s position at Sacred Heart. The rest is history! Sarah is a kindergarten teacher at Westside Elementary, we have 3 sons, a dog, and two cats.
